Originally formed in 1991, the Wichita Wind Ensembles is an organization of concert bands including a professional group as well as ensembles for students auditioned from middle schools and high schools across south-central Kansas. Under the direction of Dr. John W. Taylor, the Wichita Wind Ensembles have achieved many recognitions and awards.
